I cannot recommend highly enough Clyde cars. I have bought many second-hand cars over many years and know only too well the occasional pitfalls and niggles that can arise. The car I bought was beautifully presented, with full-service history, very well priced, and drove excellently. Ian was as confident in selling me the car as I was in buying it. All good. However, the car developed an unexplainable, uncommon, and difficult to diagnose fault. This was where in the past, I would have had problems with a dealership or used car sales as the car still drove superbly. However, this is where Ian and Clyde cars truly came into their own. It was a fault that neither he nor I could have anticipated. He was fully honest and transparent about the issue. Aware there was going to be a short delay in getting garage repair time and parts, Ian even offered an unequivocal refund. My problem was dealt with immediately and although difficult and costly to Ian, was dealt with comprehensively and without fuss. I would not normally write a review but in this case it would be doing a disservice to those who are in the market for a second-hand car and the mind field that this can be.
